Chicago Chorale Concert Covid Safety Protocols:

Masks must be worn by all patrons over age 2. Proof of vaccination (for all patrons age 5 and up) must presented upon entry. Thank you.

All of our singers have performed a rapid Covid antigen test one hour prior to each concert. Singers have the option to remove their masks while singing in the concert.

Chicago Chorale thanks you for wearing your masks and presenting your proof of vaccination to our concerts. We are grateful for your cooperation in our ongoing efforts towards safety and health equity. Your actions make it possible for all members of our community to safely attend our events.

20th Anniversary Concert

In a joyous trip down memory lane, Chorale revisits repertoires that have been our favorites over the past twenty years.  From Renaissance motets by Palestrina and Victoria, to twentieth century American motets by Randall Thompson, Robert Kreuz, and Alan Hovhaness;  a set of Scandinavian and Baltic works by Grieg, Dubra, and Ešenvalds, and a concluding group celebrating our coming trip to Spain, by Busto, Consolacion, and Centeno: we will present a panorama of where Chorale has been, and where we are going.  Come to hear the warmth of our sound, and the care and precision of our preparation, showcased in the multi-faceted repertoire we offer.  See for yourselves why we have been recognized by Chicago's top music critics, season after season, as one of the finest classical music ensembles in our region.

Chicago Chorale: Spain and Beyond

Join us for a virtual fundraiser for Chicago Chorale. The evening will feature WFMT host Lisa Flynn as emcee, an online auction with fabulous prizes in all price ranges, new musical performances, interviews with Chorale singers, and an opportunity to raise a glass of sangria and a virtual paddle for Chicago Chorale!

Your purchase of a gala ticket includes complimentary admission to our upcoming Spain and Beyond: Wine Tasting event. This event will feature sommelier led wine tastings of wines from Spain and Argentina. Guests are invited to drop in, enjoy a wine tasting, and mingle with Chorale singers who will be touring in Spain this summer.

Memory Eternal

Chorale’s March concert, Memory Eternal, featured an a cappella requiem by Alexander Kastalsky and several related motets. Presented in the lovely acoustics of Hyde Park Union Church and St. Vincent DePaul Parish.
